Leave the paste on for up to a minute, then you wash off. This is to avoid the acid affecting the enamel. Here is a piece of advice; avoid the frequent use of baking soda, it is an abrasive (meaning it have the capability of removing stains) and at the same time it can also be harmful. When used continuously it begins to wear away the tooth enamel, which will eventually cause your tooth to darken.

2. Strawberry and salt
Strawberries contain some good amount of vitamin C, which will enable the teeth to become whiter. It additionally contains malic acid (an enzyme) which helps in removing surface stains. Salt likewise is one of the basic dental cleansing agent that have been in use for a long time. Many brand of toothpaste also use salt as one of their ingredients during production.

All you need to do is to take three large strawberries, crush them into pulp, then you add a pinch of salt.
